The terms that govern your use of the Janmudra platform.
Eligibility
You may use Janmudra's services if you are an Indian resident aged 18 years or older and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that you meet these conditions.
Our Role as a Loan Facilitator
Janmudra Fincorp Limited is a loan distribution platform. We are not a bank or NBFC and we do not lend our own funds. We help you discover, compare and apply for credit products offered by our partner banks and NBFCs. All lending decisions — approval, rejection, sanctioned amount, interest rate and tenure — rest solely with the concerned lender.
Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide true, complete and current information in every enquiry and application. Incorrect or misleading information can lead to rejection of your application by lenders and suspension of your access to our platform.
Fees Disclosure
Browsing, comparing and enquiring on Janmudra is free for borrowers. Where a service fee applies to a specific facilitation service, it is disclosed to you in writing before you confirm. Lenders may levy their own charges — such as processing fees, prepayment charges or penal charges — which are listed in the lender's sanction letter and key-fact statement.
Third-Party Lender Terms
Every loan you take through the platform is governed by the loan agreement you sign with the lender. Those terms operate in addition to, and independently of, these platform terms. Please read the lender's agreement, key-fact statement and schedule of charges carefully before signing.
Limitation of Liability
Janmudra facilitates introductions and applications in good faith but does not guarantee approval of any loan, any particular rate, or timelines controlled by lenders. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the use of the platform is limited to the service fee, if any, you paid to us for the transaction concerned.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the use of the platform, subject to any mandatory arbitration or consumer-forum rights available to you under law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in law or in our services. The revised version becomes effective when published on this page, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revision.
